With no recent movies to review, Richard Wolley rejoins the podcast to discuss some of our favorite scary movies and some of the classic horror films we've been catching up with this month. We talk about 80s gore flicks, paranoia-driven horror and gross-out body-concious horror. We also debate which fiilms are better between "American Werewolf in London" vs. "The Howling" and "Dawn of the Dead" vs. "Day of the Dead." At the end of the show, we recommend some of our favorite horror gems currently streaming on Netflix.

This week we are in no shortage of topics with special guest Mike Fallek of the east-coast podcast "Lets Start a Cult." He joins us to talk about the dangers of group think, the virtues of Obi Wan Kenobi and the role of an actor on set. Together we review Stephen Soderbergh's new film "Logan Lucky," the Netflix-produced "Death Note," based on the Japanese anime, and at the end, we discuss Brad Bird's animated classic "The Iron Giant."
